Usage - Blueprint Snapshot Pro
Open the Snapshots Panel
The Snapshots panel opens automatically when you open a Blueprint. You can also open it manually from:
- Window → Snapshots
Create a Snapshot
- Click the "+ Create" button in the panel's top bar
- Enter a descriptive name for the snapshot
- The snapshot is created instantly and appears in the list
View Differences (Diff)
When selecting a snapshot, the Changes panel shows the differences with the current state:
- Quick stats: Number of Added, Removed, Modified items and Variables
- Changes by section: My Blueprint, Defaults, Class Settings, Components, Construction Script, EventGraph, functions, etc.
Color coding:
- Green: Added nodes/variables
- Red: Removed nodes/variables
- Yellow: Moved nodes
Navigate Between Changes
- Prev / Next: Jump to the previous or next change in the diff view
- Lock: Allows you to move the visual diff panels independently
- Layout: Switches the diff view between vertical and horizontal layout
Restore a Snapshot
- Select the snapshot you want to restore
- Click the "Restore" button
- If Snapshot Before Restore is enabled in the settings, a safety snapshot will be created automatically
Delete a Snapshot
- Select the snapshot you want to delete
- Click the trash icon in the top bar
