Usage - Blueprint Snapshot Pro

Open the Snapshots Panel

The Snapshots panel opens automatically when you open a Blueprint. You can also open it manually from:

  • Window → Snapshots

Create a Snapshot

  1. Click the "+ Create" button in the panel's top bar
  2. Enter a descriptive name for the snapshot
  3. The snapshot is created instantly and appears in the list

View Differences (Diff)

When selecting a snapshot, the Changes panel shows the differences with the current state:

  • Quick stats: Number of Added, Removed, Modified items and Variables
  • Changes by section: My Blueprint, Defaults, Class Settings, Components, Construction Script, EventGraph, functions, etc.

Color coding:

  • Green: Added nodes/variables
  • Red: Removed nodes/variables
  • Yellow: Moved nodes

Navigate Between Changes

  • Prev / Next: Jump to the previous or next change in the diff view
  • Lock: Allows you to move the visual diff panels independently
  • Layout: Switches the diff view between vertical and horizontal layout

Restore a Snapshot

  1. Select the snapshot you want to restore
  2. Click the "Restore" button
  3. If Snapshot Before Restore is enabled in the settings, a safety snapshot will be created automatically

Delete a Snapshot

  1. Select the snapshot you want to delete
  2. Click the trash icon in the top bar
